Regional Ministries

The American Baptist Churches USA are made up of 35 Regional Mission Units. You and your congregation are a part of The American Baptist Churches of Oregon, and our 55 Oregon congregations. ABCO plays a critical role in supporting the ministry of your church, and provides many “hands on” services to both pastors and churches. A few of those services are:

American Baptist Churches of Oregon seek to be a Region of “Vibrant Life”! The vision statement affirmed by the ABCO Board of Ministries is:

“Vibrant Life Churches – To ensure ABC Oregon is alive and vibrant; it must grow spiritually, professionally and physically—for growth is evidence of life.”

To help us achieve these goals, the ABCO Board Of
Ministries voted to undertake the “Expanding the Kingdom
of God” capital campaign, or EKG.
 
EKG was launched at our October 2005 Annual gathering of American Baptist Churches of Oregon.
